My friend in Atlanta says deep fried Twinkies are a southern thing...and that at some grocery stores down there you can buy mixes for making them. I had one once at a fair and it was deeelicious!
I'm from the midwest where they fry everything so I was actually surprised people found this video so novel! I had my first fried Twinkie in Chicago. Now I live on the east coast. At the Delaware State Fair you can find fried Oreos, Snickers, Mars, you name it! It's seriously worth a try!
