Nice how MSNBC waits until the second-to-last paragraph to tell you he might have to shut down his business and he's upside down on his mortgage. Sounds like AmEx is doing exactly as they should, they're protecting themselves.
Also, he knows he spends between $6,000-8,000 each month on travel. What about saving some cash for a few months and spending your own money? Then the lowered credit limit would have less impact. If he's not willing to put his own cash on the line, why should AmEx?
