Proclaiming the greatness of Hasslehoff

Dom Bettinelli's post about a reviewer who puts Homer in his place reminded me of one of my favorite features on Amazon: the running competition to see who can proclaim the glory of David Hasslehoff's albums the most. Check out the reviews to The Best of Hasslehoff (Import) and The Very Best of David Hasslehoff. Hilarious.

Too funny!

I recently was reading "Real Simple" magazine (you know, the one that makes you feel inadequate in every way...) and they had a page of best reviewed items from a variety of websites, and in Real Simple, it had David Hasselhoff under music from Amazon.com...I had to show it to my hubby, who in turn had to show it to his parents german exchange student (he tries to bring up David Hasselhoff as often as possible with her...he finds it very funny...she doesn't...)

I thought it was a truely strange thing to be one of the top rated items, but now it makes SOOO much sense. Sadly, I'm not sure which album it was that was listed, but I may have to check the magazine at the library next week during story time!

Thanks for the laugh!

Wow, that is a great story.

And what a great description of Real Simple. So true.
