Helpful hints

This list of household tips was emailed to me. A lot of them look good (though, as with much information that comes through chain emails, I'm not positive that all of it is true).

The one about peeling bananas from the bottom is definitely true. My sister showed that to me a while back. Definitely easier to open, less chance of bruising and less strings. But for all that I still open them the way I've always done.

And though I don't eat garlic, I can vouch for the fact that the flavor is stronger if you add it later. The same is true for hot peppers. They'll be less hot if you add them earlier.
