Water boiled in a microwave can suddenly "explode"

It sounds like an urban legend, but this can actually happen! (Snopes notes that it's very rare -- still interesting to read about, though.)

Mythbusters showed that overheating Distilled Water was the most dangerous because it does not boil because it has no stuff in it like regular water.

When I dip a teabag in microwaved water I always do so very quickly and lightly at first, and that starts it boiling again. If I just let the teabag lay in there, it'd boil over at once.
